FAQs
Q: How much work is required to be performed by the Broker and the Agent?
A: As a Broker it is your job to drive your Agent's productivity just as you do now. This is a key roll in how your office will operate.
As an Agent, you are simply required to complete the six-steps. We have simplified these procedures for the Agent making them easy to complete and two of these steps are already being performed during their normal real estate duties.
Q: What happens when my client has a mortgage question?
A: Refer them to REBFN support for the answer. Your job is to perform the six-steps. You don’t have to become a mortgage broker to join our network. Our support staff is here, for YOU as well as your client, to assist in every aspect of the process.
Q: Where will my files be processed and stored?
A: All files are currently being processed in our Lake Worth processing center or in your Broker’s office if your Broker is an REBFN Branch Office. As the number of locations increase, we will open additional processing centers to accommodate the workload and storage requirements. All files are kept confidential and information is neither shared nor available to other parties.
Q: What are the costs associated with this type of business / ROI?
A: Agents – There is no costs to join REBFN.
Brokers - REBFN does not charge Brokers to join, but certain start-up costs must be paid by the Broker to the State of Florida and other third party sources in order to show that they have assumed risk as required of a Branch Office. The approximate cost is less than you may think. By following our format, one single loan of $250,000 will return your entire investment at the first closing and still show a generous profit.
Q: What kind of volume can I expect to generate?
A: Take a look at the number of real estate transactions that you, as an Agent or that your office as a Broker, are currently generating per year. Now determine how many of those transactions were closed for cash. The remainder is the potential number of deals that can be obtained through the REBFN program.
